This will include IT set up, tour and guidance on facilities available and induction essential to your role. Attendance is recommended and is built into your rate of pay. The weekly teachers’ meetings will feature specific training as needed. Child Protection We take a rigorous approach to safeguarding young people. All staff must familiarise themselves with Academic Summer Camp’s Child Protection Policy and the KCSIE (Keeping Children Safe in Education) part 1. You will be required to pass DBS check/police check and hold a safeguarding level 1 certificate issued from a recognised provider within the last 2 years; if you don’t currently have this Academic Summer will provide access to an online course.
