There is the option to take on weekend trip shifts; please refer to the Camp Counsellor job description for information and rates.

Please note, if you’re unable to teach a lesson that you’re scheduled for a deduction of £18 per hour of lesson will be made to your salary and paid to the cover teacher who takes on this lesson. You are expected to ensure that all planning including resources are available before your week of teaching begins so that in the event a cover teacher is needed they are able to run your lesson as planned. You will be required to write reports for the week as scheduled. If you haven’t uploaded lesson plan and resources and/or you’re unable to complete reports for that class for the week the full hourly rate for that lesson/s may be deducted from your salary. Accommodation and Meals Limited accommodation is available for residential teachers, in return for taking on boarding supervision responsibilities. There may be accommodation available at a charge for workers who don’t wish to have any boarding supervision responsibility. If this is of interest to you, please let us know at interview and we will be happy to discuss availability and details. Accommodation may be a shared room. All workers staying on site must adhere to accommodation rules including curfew If you’re residential, breakfast, lunch and dinner are included in your salary package, with the expectation that you will assist with mealtime supervision, prioritise getting students through the queues ahead of yourself and promote the smooth running of mealtimes. This includes spreading out so that there aren’t tables dominated by teachers. If you’re non- residential you’ll be welcome to join us for a complimentary lunch if it falls within your teaching day, again with the understanding that you will prioritise the smooth running of the lunchtime period and will sit with students, particularly if you are teaching Adventurers.
